Héctor Javier Santana García, municipal president, was in charge of receiving this important recognition on behalf of the inhabitants of the municipality.
“This award reflects the effort and dedication of all our people,” Santana said during his speech. He took the opportunity to invite those present to discover Bahía de Banderas, highlighting that it is the “safest tourist destination in Mexico.”

He Values Award 2024 celebrates individuals and organizations that stand out for their commitment and excellence in areas such as tourism, government management and business. In this edition, Bahía de Banderas was recognized for its notable advances in security, the care of its certified beaches and the warm hospitality that characterizes the destination.
Santana thanked Governor Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero for his support and the collaboration of the different sectors of the municipality. “Thanks to this joint work, we have achieved great progress that makes Bahía de Banderas a unique place. Our hospitality is loved and our gastronomy is unforgettable,” said the mayor.
