The television channel, Discovery Channel, will broadcast a special sport fishing program dedicated to the Treasure of the Mexican Pacific on May 2 and 9.
The Riviera Nayarit will be the main destination in the season premiere of the popular sport fishing program "Uncharted Waters with Peter Miller" which airs this Saturday May 2 on Discovery Channel.
The show's host, Peter Miller, who is also three times World Sailfish Champion, will take viewers through the fantastic deep waters of the destination on an exciting adventure that will also showcase the best of local culture.
Sport fishing in the Riviera Nayarit is a great attraction for thousands of people who practice this activity in North America, thanks to the climate and maritime conditions, which are always very favorable. As well as the diversity of species that inhabit its more than 300 kilometers of coastline, such as yellowfin tuna, amberjack and snapper, among others.
In addition to highlighting this activity, the episode will transport viewers through the region's fishing villages, such as The Cross of Huanacaxtle, Saint Pancho, sayulita and Mita's tip, showing the local culture, exquisite gastronomy and versatile tourist offer.
Audiences tuning in to the show will be able to catch a little of everything, from deep-sea fishing and surfing, to tequila tastings and traditional celebrations around the Day of the Dead.
