On the occasion of the international event Ironman 70.3 Riviera Nayarit, which will bring together more than 1,500 outstanding athletes from 38 countries on Sunday, November 10 in Bahía de Banderas, the municipal president Héctor Javier Santana García, in coordination with the Municipal Security and Traffic Department, has established alternate routes to facilitate circulation.

On Sunday, November 10, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Riviera Nayarit Boulevard will be open to a single lane in both directions from north to south, from kilometer 144+400 (at the Mega traffic light in Bucerías) to kilometer 152.

To go north towards the towns of San Juan de Abajo, San José del Valle, El Colomo and El Porvenir, it is suggested to use the old road to Valle de Banderas. Those heading south, towards Puerto Vallarta, can choose Avenida Federaciones with the gap towards Jarretaderas or the Paso del Guayabo bridge, thus avoiding the Mezcales crossing.

The 12th City Council of Bahía de Banderas invites citizens to take precautions to enjoy this great event, which will bring significant economic benefits to the municipality.
