June arrives with surprises at the El Muégano Cineclub: A month of premieres

This time the film series are:

• Wednesday – Contemporary Italian Cinema

• Thursday – PREMIERE contemporary Mexican cinema

• Friday – Public Enemies

We will also have the screening of the film “Mano de Trabajo” by director David Zonana, which will be presented for the first time in our city on the day Thursday June 9, and which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2019.

The day Thursday June 13 We will premiere in Puerto Vallarta "Mi Novia es la Revolución" by director Marcelino Islas Hernández, selected in different international festivals, including the Monterrey International Film Festival, Guadalajara International Film Festival, and the Chicago Latino Film Festival.

"All the Fires", released internationally as the only Mexican film selected at the Locarno Film Festival in 2022, and directed by Mauricio Calderón Rico, is presented on Thursday June 20, coinciding with its national release date.

We close this cycle with the film “Zapatos Rojos”, the debut of director Carlos Eichelmann, the Thursday June 27. This acclaimed film was nominated for best film at the Malaga Festival, where it won the award for Best Cinematography.

It should be noted that all of these films are brought directly from the distributors with whom we continue to collaborate that allow us to provide a non-commercial film slate to Puerto Vallarta.
