Puerto Vallarta boosts its tourism with a new Board of Advisors

The destination strengthens its commitment to sustainability, innovation and excellence in visitor service, integrating experts and key players in the tourism sector.

Puerto Vallarta is moving forward in its goal of establishing itself as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Mexico with the creation of the Committee of Tourism Advisors. This joint effort, which involves the municipal, state and federal governments, as well as representatives of the tourism industry, educational institutions and various strategic sectors such as security, legal, banking and transportation services, promises to lay the foundations for more competitive, responsible and sustainable tourism.

At a meeting chaired by Councilwoman Melissa Marlene Madero Plascencia, president of the City Council's Tourism Services and Visitor Care Committee, it was highlighted that the committee will be more than a space for dialogue: it will be a driving force for action. This body will work on improving infrastructure, tourism services and visitor care, without neglecting the preservation of natural heritage or support for local communities.

Innovation and cooperation to face challenges

During his speech, Madero Plascencia stressed the importance of collaboration between the municipal government, led by Luis Munguía, and the region's tourism operators. As he explained, the creation of this committee seeks to strategically address the needs of the tourism sector, designing effective solutions for contingencies and strengthening key areas such as:

  • Sustainability: Promote practices that ensure the conservation of the natural and cultural environment, making Puerto Vallarta an example of responsible tourism.
  • Quality and professionalism: Promote the training and specialization of tourism personnel to ensure memorable experiences for visitors.
  • Security and trust: Working together with security agencies and legal services to ensure a peaceful and pleasant stay for tourists.

Expectations for the future of Vallarta tourism

The integration of this committee not only reflects a commitment to tourism development, but also a long-term vision. With the collaboration of multiple sectors, Puerto Vallarta seeks to identify new growth opportunities and stay ahead in an increasingly competitive global market.

This effort promises to not only raise the standards of the destination, but also strengthen the local economy, improve the quality of life of the communities in the region and ensure that the unique essence of Puerto Vallarta remains its greatest attraction.

With initiatives like this, the destination is positioning itself as a model of innovation and sustainability, generating great expectations for its future in the tourism industry.
