This emblematic town is located 14 km from Puerto Vallarta, on Highway 200, between Conchas Chinas and Boca de Tomatl\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>It has a white sand beach and gentle waves, with restaurants with humble palapas but glorious flavor. All its ingredients are fresh, taken daily from the sea and the land. Its dishes are local delicacies, while its drinks are worthy companions on a sunny day at the beach.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B9iKNAqJrM7\/\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B9iKNAqJrM7\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>The film &quot;La Noche de la Iguana&quot; is the beginning of a great artistic career for Mismaloya\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This beach town makes its leap thanks to the film&#039;s director<a href=\"https:\/\/labahiamasbella.com\/en\/la-noche-de-la-iguana-puerto-vallarta\/\"><em> &quot;The Night of the Iguana&quot; <\/em><\/a>John Houston. He decides that the jungle and the sea in the area are the perfect setting for such an emblematic film. <strong>Thanks to this, the national and international press sets its sights on Puerto Vallarta and its surroundings. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mismaloya becomes a Hollywood artist residence but its main characters were <a href=\"https:\/\/labahiamasbella.com\/en\/casa-kimberly-un-refugio-de-amor-en-vallarta\/\">Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor<\/a>, who chose the bay to live their romance, initially prohibited. Previously you could visit the recording set of this film. You can also find your way to locations that were used for another movie, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmaffinity.com\/mx\/film987948.html\">&quot;Predator&quot;<\/a>. <\/em>The place is known as <em>&quot;The Eden&quot;<\/em>, a cool river, with dominant rocks that create refreshing waterfalls. Biological diversity ranges from birds, fish, armadillos, deer and even jaguars. Not to worry these have their habitat in the depths of the jungle.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Mismaloya is more than just memories and longing, it is joy and life.<\/strong><\/em> It is a beautiful beach and a charming town. Good food and excellent drink. Mexican crafts made of love. Colors given by nature embodied in animals and silver, on land and water. It is a place of history to create stories. It is the foot of the before and after of Puerto Vallarta.
