Discover Riviera Nayarit's new beach corridor

This emerging tourist area is distinguished by a beautiful scenery of beach, jungle and mountains with an unparalleled view of the ocean. Undoubtedly, nature was generous with this Mexican Pacific Treasure.

With the arrival of new tourist developments to the Riviera Nayarit, such as La Mandarina and Costa Canuva, the emergence of a corridor that includes beaches of exceptional beauty yet to be discovered is glimpsed. Both developments located in the municipality of Compostela will constitute the next pole of economic activity in this tourist destination.

We invite you to discover these beaches of unique beauty!

Las Cuevas Beach

This is one of the lesser known beaches in the area of sayulitaAlthough it is also one of the most beautiful. Located to the north of the town, getting to it is easy: you just have to follow a path that you can follow on foot or by mountain bike and that will take you to a magical place hidden among rocks sculpted by the pounding of the waves, creating strange formations or "caves."

Malpaso Beach

There are two beautiful towns, Sayulita and San Pancho, joined by the jungle and a beautiful beach called Malpaso. This 2.7 kilometer stretch of pristine beach is one of the few unspoilt pockets that can still be found in this region, a paradise to be appreciated and preserved.

muddy beach

It is a beach very little known by tourists, although it has always been an "open secret" of the locals of San Pancho. Discovered in the last year by “instagramers”, its popularity is increasing due in large part to the fact that it is like an outdoor spa, since visitors like to smear mud (which can be found on the hill near the beach) all over their bodies, sunbathe and then dive into the sea. A glorious experience! Easily accessible, part of it is done by car on a dirt road and another part is a 15-minute walk through the jungle.

The thing about Marcos

The beach of Lo de Marcos, a typical Riviera Nayarit coastal town, is very clean and almost always has enough space to sunbathe and enjoy a tropical cocktail. It is also excellent for swimming due to the tranquility of its waters. Nearby are other lovely small beaches, such as Los Venados, Las Minitas and El Atracadero, which are little frequented, so you can almost turn them into your private beaches for a day. They have few services, so it is better that you bring everything you need.

Punta Raza Beach

Punta Raza is a vast area of soft, golden sand, with a sea of intense waves and turquoise waters. To get to the beach, you have to take a narrow road from the town of El Monteón, with access from federal highway 200 (7 kilometers from Rincón de Guayabitos). Very close to the beach is the Club Punta Raza, which has a pool, terraces, dining room, kitchen, showers, and bathrooms. Children can enjoy the facilities for free and adults can enter with only a recovery fee for the maintenance of the club.

Hidden Paradise Beach

This beach is located to the north of Peñita de Jaltemba, in the Paraíso Escondido neighborhood, very close to the new tourist complex of Costa Canuva. Access to the beach is through a road that connects with federal highway 200, or through the Paraíso Escondido neighborhood itself. Nearby is El Naranjo beach, with intense waves, paradisiacal atmosphere and beautiful landscapes, where the Tortuguero camp of the same name is located.

Do you know any of these beaches in the Riviera Nayarit? We hope that very soon you will be able to travel to this Treasure of the Mexican Pacific to enjoy these spectacular places.
