The Punta Mita Pacífico golf course is considered among the best in the world. It stretches along the Mexican Pacific coast, with 5 holes facing the sea. One of them is called "whale tail" because it is located on a small peninsula.
Its design was in charge of the famous former player Jack Nicklaus, who included more than 1,800 palm trees in his landscape. Being in an exclusive residential area, it is only open to residents, club members and guests within the development.

EL NAYAR GOLF COURSE
Designed by the great former player Jack Nicklaus, this course combines technical challenges with a harmonious visual aesthetic. It is located in Nuevo Vallarta between luxurious hotels and tall palm trees. In the distance you can see the imposing Sierra Madre Occidental.
Throughout its 18 holes there are seven lakes and 49 sand traps. Gusts of wind from the Pacific Ocean make it quite a challenge. The El Nayar golf course is par 70 and has an extension of 6,668 yards.

GREG NORMAN GOLF COURSE
As its name implies, this 18-hole par 73 golf course was designed by former Australian golfer Greg Norman. Wide tee areas lead to large, undulating greens protected by sand bunkers.
Its 7,326 yards stretch along the Ameca River surrounded by native trees and lush jungle. It has 15 lakes, 88 sand traps, and a golf cart suspension bridge that spans the river. This river divides Jalisco and Nayarit.

PUNTA MITA BAY GOLF COURSE
This is the second golf course that Jack Nicklaus made for the exclusive Punta Mita development. It is characterized by having more undulating fairways and greens, making each player's putting technique a fundamental part of the game.
Its layout includes five holes that are played next to the ocean and two more with a view of the sea. Throughout the course there are several lakes and ponds between the holes. It has a clubhouse, pro-shop, lockers, practice range, putting green and equipment rental.

THE LAKES GOLF COURSE
Recently created, The Lakes Golf Course has 10 par 3 holes and is the only lighted course in the bay. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus in a small natural valley. Its stadium-like environment is ideal for spectators to enjoy the game.
The Lakes is inspired by the best short golf courses in the world. On each hole you will find challenging obstacles. It is the only golf course in Riviera Nayarit with night lighting, being open until 11:00 pm.

EL TIGRE GOLF COURSE
It was one of the first golf courses in Riviera Nayarit. At 10 years old, this world-class golf course never ceases to amaze. It has represented a challenge for professional golfers on major tours such as the Canadian Tour and the Futures Tour.
The design of the golf course was carried out by Von Hagge, Smelek & Baril. It has 18 holes, par 72, with a length of 7,239 yards. The 421-yard 16th hole will test your long swing as you approach the peninsula-like green.

LITIBU GOLF COURSE
Opened in 2010, it is located very close to the exclusive area of Punta de Mita in the Mexican Pacific. This golf course has an area of almost 70 hectares with 3 holes that run in front of the sea.
In designing it, Greg Norman took advantage of the natural beauty of Litibú beach and its abundant tropical vegetation. The first 7 holes are very open fairways of the "link" type and the next 8 are located in the vicinity of virgin forest.

FLAMINGOS GOLF COURSE
Designed by Percy Clifford, this golf course takes advantage of the natural elements to perfection. It is located between lagoons, estuaries and abundant tropical vegetation where animals such as raccoons, turtles, armadillos and birds coexist.
Although it is the oldest of the Riviera Nayarit golf courses, it is still one of the favourites. It has a clubhouse, pro-shop, cart and golf equipment rental, 230-yard practice table, putting green, snack bar, and changing rooms.
