Experience the First Day of the Dead Festival at Aquaventuras Park

Aquaventuras Park invites you to its 1st Day of the Dead Festival on October 30 and 31 to commemorate Mexican traditions. Children enter free.

Aquaventuras Park, one of the family water parks of The Dolphin Company, will hold its 1st Day of the Dead Festival on October 30 and 31 to commemorate Mexican traditions with an exhibition of altars and catrinas.

He Day of the Dead It is a traditional Mexican celebration that takes place on November 1 and 2 to honor loved ones who have passed away. In 2008 it was declared by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of Mexico and its fame has been such that it is already celebrated internationally.

“We are very happy to carry out this festival in Aquaventuras Park. As a proudly Mexican company, The Dolphin Company seeks to highlight typical traditions of our country and that is why we decided to hold this event in which we hope that the families of Vallarta and its surroundings have fun and enjoy all the exhibitions that we will have for them. We thank the sponsors who joined this first festival, of which we will make an annual tradition”, commented Cristian Martínez, General Manager of Aquaventuras Park.

As part of the festival, Aquaventuras Park launched a promotion for locals, which consists of giving the free access to children up to 11 years old who attend with costumes allusive to the celebration, while adults will pay a preferential price of $120.00 pesos. Festival attendees will be able to make use of the park's facilities, slide down the slides, enjoy the only lazy river in Vallarta, learn about marine animals at the dolphin and sea lion presentation, and tour the altars and catrinas exhibit.
