The Riviera Nayarit has a great diversity of entertainment options throughout the year. In addition to the activities typical of a sun and beach destination, event tourism is also one of its great values.
Here is a list of the events that have already been confirmed to take place in the month of March:
WesMex International Regatta 2020 (4 – 8 March)
The Vallarta Yacht Club (VYC) of Nuevo Vallarta is pleased to receive this regatta considered one of the most important of the Mexican Sailing Circuit, which has also earned a reputation as the best small boat race in Banderas Bay. The WesMex is organized by the VYC and endorsed by the Mexican Sailing Federation, the Mexico Optimist Class Association (AMVCO), the Mexico Laser Class Association and the 420 Class Club.

2nd Riviera de Nayarit Raicilla, Mezcal and Craft Beer Festival (March 7 – 8)
The second Riviera Nayarit Raicilla, Mezcal and Craft Beer Festival (FERAMECE) will take place from March 7 to 8 at the Marina Nuevo Vallarta, with the participation of 40 renowned beverage and gastronomy brands from the region. It will be a weekend full of flavors, traditional drinks, good music and activities. Do not miss!

1st Banderas Bay Music Festival (March 10 – 11)
The first Bahía de Banderas Music Festival will bring together the best local musicians, as well as international artists, on March 10 and 11 in the coastal town of Bucerías, within the Los Arroyos Verdes ecological development. The stage area is limited to just 350 seats, creating a very special and intimate experience. There will be bar service, delicious food and, of course, music and more music, with bands like The Paperboys, David Jacobs-Strain, Cheko Ruiz Band and PUG, from Canada, the United States, Mexico and Argentina.

Music and Arts Festival of the Port of Chacala Riviera Nayarit (March 13 – 15)
The Chacala community has organized the Music and Arts Festival since 2014, with free admission. It features children's shows, local visual and graphic artists, bands, soloists, dance groups, and even theater performances. The program is varied and the festival is designed to include different nationalities, ages and origins.

VI Bahía Riviera Nayarit Cup (March 13 – 16)
The Riviera Nayarit is preparing to receive the sixth edition of the Copa Bahía 2020, which will take place from March 13 to 16 under the Association Football organization. Children and young people in the company of their families will enjoy the most popular sport in Mexico: soccer. There are cash prizes and professional team viewers.

Children's Circus (March 18 – 21)
The Circo de Los Niños de San Pancho announces its new theatrical show of circus arts: Sancho, which will take place at the Bodega Circo in San Francisco, "Cultural Capital of the Riviera Nayarit", from March 18 to 21, at 7: 30 pm Every year the Bodega Circo presents the talent of young students, in a production directed by Gilles St. Croix, one of the founders of the renowned Cirque du Soleil, and co-designed by Monique Voyer.

9th National Cheerleading Meeting (March 20 – 22)
The 2020 APEN All Star Mexico National Championship returns for the ninth time to the shores of Riviera Nayarit. Around 20 teams from different states will show their skill in the Choreography, Dance and Acrobatics divisions.

21st Guayafest 2020 (21 – 22 March)
More than 300 Volkswagen brand vehicles, classic or modified, will arrive at the great “vochera” party in Rincón de Guayabitos on March 21 and 22. An event organized by TPC Bugs Club Tepic that each year attracts hundreds of families from different states of the country to live together and enjoy their passion in one of the most traditional beach destinations.

XXVIII Bahía de Banderas International Regatta (24 – 28 March)
The Bahía de Banderas Regatta is one of the most important in the world, as well as being the largest and oldest on the Pacific coast of Mexico. It brings together cruise ships, racing boats and even some categories of small boats. To be held from March 24 to 28, 2020 in Nuevo Vallarta, based at the Vallarta Yacht Club, this traditional regatta will have participants from Mexico, the United States and Canada.

3rd Tourist Route Puerto Vallarta – Bahía de Banderas (March 28)
Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit await you on March 28, 2020 in this long-distance cycling tour, with three distances to cover: 100K, 72K and 21K, suitable for both road and mountain cyclists. The start and finish line of the participants will be in Puerto Mágico (Maritime Terminal – API) in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.
