Puerto Vallarta Hill Climb Challenge: hill climb by bike

With the objective of promoting sports tourism and especially mountain climbing cycling, the Municipal Sports Council (Comude), in coordination with the Municipal Civil Protection and Firefighters Unit, supports the holding of the Puerto Vallarta Hill Climb Challenge event.

Amador Hernández Madrigal, director of Comude, indicated that this event promotes sports tourism and especially cycling culture not only in the city, as is the case with other circuits, but also promotes the municipalities of the region. San Sebastián del Oeste is known as a "magical town" located high in the Sierra Madre of Jalisco, Mexico. You will be tested on a climb that has multiple double-digit grade sections and a final 3km climb.
Join Phil Gaimon along with several local and international professional cyclists and Olympic athletes and take on one of the most unique climbs in the world. San Sebastián del Oeste is recognized as a magical town and is located high in the Sierra Madre of Jalisco, Mexico. The challenge consists of a 70 km route with inclination percentages of more than 10% and ends with a final ascent of 3 km of cobblestones.
