The San Pancho Collective revolutionized the way of experiencing art in the town through the annual production of the Art Festival, a free 100% event, open to the public that took art to the streets, to schools, managing to integrate everyone. the population and that in 2008 achieved the appointment of San Francisco as the CULTURAL CAPITAL of the State of Nayarit.
This year, we want to remember and honor the path of all the people who saw in San Pancho the opportunity to create a different society in which music, dance, painting, sculpture and other artistic disciplines become the tool and the pretext to generate unity and understanding, for education and care of the environment, for the creation of opportunities for children and young people, for health and common well-being, for social denunciation and the daily fight for equity and justice.
San Pancho Cultural Capital tells us about memories, emotions, teamwork, quality, success, continuity, as well as the need to maintain and represent this title with pride and consistency, holding on to the principles that brought us to this place and that have allowed us to share so many joys over fifteen years.
