Puerto Vallarta, an oasis of freedom in the world

Mexico is one of the best nations to live. This is confirmed by the hundreds of foreigners who have found a true home in our country. In September we celebrate the independence of Mexico with merriment and an air of freedom.

This year we have experienced moments that invite us to reflect on the most important things in life: health, freedom and peace. Mexico, particularly cultivates all of them and Puerto Vallarta is proof of this. Our city has become one of the most beautiful and safe beach destinations in the world. For this reason, it is for many an oasis of freedom and opportunities. We enjoy a majestic nature, which in all aspects endows us with health and well-being.

Mexico: home of foreigners

Mexico has become a country that invites foreigners to be home. People from all over the world come and fall in love with its kind and supportive people who always have a warm phrase “Pass him that this is his house” making them feel really at home. This nation is attractive because of its great history, traditions, art, gastronomy and architecture. In addition, it enjoys having a scenario of prodigious geographical diversity, ecosystems, beaches, climate and great culture.

Puerto Vallarta is a meeting point. Here migration is a friendly term, synonymous with multiculturalism, openness and inclusion. The bay always shows a friendly and warm face to everyone. A hug for those who come from other states of the Mexican Republic and also for those who come from countries in South America, the United States, Canada and other latitudes.

Mexico: Second economy in Latin America

Our country also offers fantastic entrepreneurial freedom. It is a modern economy that preserves islets of the traditional economy, but allows development in different areas. Job opportunities for foreigners are viable according to the profile of each one. However, and in almost all cases, there are always opportunities thanks to the financial facilities. In addition, this year 2020 Mexico ranks second as the most competitive economy in Latin America, according to the World Economic Forum. This has generated that it becomes an attractive nation to invest in various sectors, for example: the tourism industry, with the construction of large tourism hotels of international brands. In the real estate sector, exponential growth has put the region in the showcase for all those who want to have their "Beach house", to mention a few examples that have managed to boost the economy of the region, despite the conditions caused by the confinement.

The area of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit is also a bay that lives in freedom and harmony, offers countless possibilities to develop and live with quality of life. All the foreigners I have spoken with generally got to know this city on vacation, and they value the number of opportunities that exist for them in different fields: academic, artistic, tourism, real estate, etc. The vast majority had the opportunity to join a friendly work environment with high development possibilities.

Banderas Bay, a jewel of inspiration

Tourists from different parts of the world who are fortunate to know the bay. They come and are inspired by making Vallarta their home for six months and the rest of the year they return to their places of origin. This is the case of friends from Canada and different cities in the United States, who spend half the year on vacation in this paradise due to its great climate. Others have been amazed at the quality of life, safety, medical services and the costs of living. That is why they have moved permanently. Artists from different disciplines have also made this setting the place of inspiration for the creation of their works. Marveling at the landscapes and sunsets, they have named this place as "the epicenter of hedonism."

In September we celebrate the independence of Mexico, but also its openness and kindness. There are those who have told me: "Mexico is a hug of warm energy, which is felt even before getting off the plane"...
