Beach Soccer Championship 2019
Beach soccer arrived to take over the Vallarta sand. From May 13 to 19, on the IPEJAL esplanade (in front of the Agustín Flores Contreras sports unit) the qualifying tournament for the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean Football, CONCAF, will take place. The 16 participating teams will be divided into four groups of four teams. After a group stage, the first and second places in each group will advance to the quarterfinals. The winners of the quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals, and in turn the winners of the semifinals will automatically qualify for the final of the tournament, as well as for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Paraguay 2019. This event will be free for the assistants. It is noteworthy that in the last edition of the Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship in the Bahamas, Panama defeated Mexico in the final, to obtain its first beach soccer title.
The participating teams are: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Bonaire, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, United States, Turks and Caicos Islands, US Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago.
