The Sports Merit Award is an event that awards the most outstanding athletes in Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas.

This event features the presence of the protagonists in the area, as well as historical figures who were also recognized for their legacy in the various disciplines practiced in Puerto Vallarta.
