Live webinar “Gastronomy and Country Brand” with Chef Betty Vázquez

The Ambassador of Gastronomy of Riviera Nayarit will participate in the live Webinar “Gastronomy and Country Brand”, presented by Chef Campus Culinary Institute 

The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau invites you to a live Webinar between Antonella Ruggiero, director of the Ibero-American Academy of Gastronomy, and chef Betty Vázquez, Riviera Nayarit Gastronomy Ambassador, to take place on June 10.

The event is held thanks to the alliance and collaboration between Chef Campus Culinary Institute and the Ibero-American Academy of Gastronomy as part of the Gastronomy and Country Brand cycle, which focuses on the work of great women chefs.

The live Webinar — aimed mainly at the Spanish and Latin American public, including Mexico — will be broadcast from the virtual classroom of Chef Campus Culinary Institute and can also be seen on the YouTube channel of the same institution, at the following times:

  • 18:00 | Spain

Ambassador of Gastronomy of Riviera Nayarit

Betty Vázquez is Riviera Nayarit Gastronomy Ambassador and executive chef of the El Delfín restaurant, at the Garza Canela Hotel in San Blas (one of the 120 Best Restaurants in Mexico). In addition, she has been recognized by the Culinary Institute of America as one of the hundred most influential chefs in the world in traditional food and as one of the most prominent names in Mexican gastronomy by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

She graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu Institute in Paris, graduated in Tourism and has just begun a master's degree in Gastronomy, Management and Tourism Planning.

The gastronomic laboratory of the Technological University of Bahía de Banderas, located in Riviera Nayarit, is named after “Chef Betty Vázquez” and is also part of the book Great Mexican Cooks by Editorial Larousse.
