North American Optimist Championship 2021

Riviera Nayarit will be the headquarters of the North American Optimist Championship in its 2021 Edition, to be held from May 29 to June 5 at the Vallarta Yacht Club (VYC) of Nuevo Vallarta.

It is one of the most important world regattas for the Optimist Boat class and one of the seven continental championships approved by the International Optimist Dinghy Assotiation (IODA); It also has the support of the Mexican Sailing Federation (FMV) and the World Sailing Federation.

Total, The presence of 500 visitors directly involved with the event is expected; and since it is a continental championship, it will have the support of the IODA micro website, so media coverage is expected throughout the world.

Registrations have been open since January 8 and will remain until January 25 at 50%.
