During the celebration of the Mexico 2024 Tourist Tianguis in Acapulco, Guerrero, Puerto Vallarta stood out as one of the main protagonists, represented by the Tourism Promotion Trust. This event, characterized by strategic meetings between exhibitors and buyers, was a crucial opportunity to establish new strategies and collaborations that boost the destination's tourism growth.

More than 120 work meetings were held with wholesale partners and meetings were held with specialized media from twelve countries, including the United States, Canada, England, Spain, Colombia and Argentina. The main focus was to review the results of the first quarter of the year and establish tactics to guarantee hotel occupancy greater than 65% during the summer season.

With these actions, Puerto Vallarta seeks to increase its visibility and attract a variety of tourism segments, from luxury to LGBTQ+ tourism, with the aim of maintaining a high level of hotel occupancy throughout the year.

In another notable achievement, Puerto Vallarta was recognized as the fourth most voted beach among the best destinations in Mexico by TripAdvisor, consolidating its position as a multi-award-winning and highly valued destination internationally.
