The Puerto Vallarta Convention Center receives the cheerleading competition

From May 13 to 15, the city of Puerto Vallarta will receive the cheerleading competition from four countries that will participate in The Magical Championship World Cheer and Dance 2021

After a year of recess derived from the covid-19 pandemic, the Olympic Cheerleading Confederation (Cop Brands) celebrates The Magical Championship World Cheer and Dance 2021 where this competition of cheerleaders from four countries meets.

The Puerto Vallarta fairgrounds receive the competition of cheerleaders, who after a pause due to health issues, have resumed the competitions

The general director of the CICPV, Magaly Fregoso Ortiz, was pleased to have the athletes at the fairgrounds, who after a break due to health issues, have resumed their competitions and this time they will be in Puerto Vallarta for three days.

He informed that emphasis will be placed on biosecurity measures, such as healthy distance, the mandatory use of face masks and antibacterial gel, in addition, care will be taken that participants only live with members of their own team.

Athletes from Colombia, Costa Rica, the United States and Mexico will meet in this cheerleading competition held in Puerto Vallarta

For his part, Ángel González Flores, organizer of the Cop Brands company, reported that on this occasion he will privately gather competitors in their different categories, they are athletes from Colombia, Costa Rica, the United States and Mexico.

National athletes are expected to attend 18 states

In the case of national athletes, the presence of 18 states is expected, including Baja California, Jalisco, Sinaloa, Mexico City, Chihuahua, to name a few.

From the program, he reported that on Thursday, May 13, the individual cheer and dancer competitions will take place; Friday, May 14 will be the Dance team finals, and Saturday, May 15 will be the Cheer finals. All activities will start at 7:00 am.

It should be noted that COP Brands athletes are cheerleaders performing routines that involve various aspects such as pull ups, pyramids, emphasis on visual effects and figure transitions to the rhythm of the music that infects the spectators with enthusiasm; but above all they always seek to give their best.
