But what is the Gala and what is done?

It is a business meeting oriented to the promotion and sale of the tourism sector. Once a year, for two days, a large number of tour operators, hoteliers, DMC's and people from the industry who come to do business meet.

One of the objectives is to promote destinations, generate alliances between the main travel agencies in the country and in the world; as well as establishing links and air connectivity with the various airlines.

“Gala Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit is the most important event to promote both destinations, the beautiful Puerto Vallarta and the spectacular Riviera Nayarit. Thank you to everyone, wholesale agents and business partners who continue to believe and work hand in hand with us”. Jesús Carmona Jiménez, director of the Bahía de Banderas Association of Hotels and Motels,

This is a very important event since tourism secretaries, mayors, governors and, of course, representatives of the Visitors' Offices and conventions of both destinations meet. In this great meeting, business appointments are previously agreed with those attending this important event.

Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit united for a common cause

During two days, the attendees toured the different stands that make up the Business Center, attending previously established appointments between wholesalers from the United States, Canada and South America, and the sales teams of the hotels in the region. The expectation is that during these working days the sale of rooms-nights will be achieved for the next holiday seasons. This contributes to the consolidation of this tourist destination Puerto Vallarta & Riviera Nayarit as one of the favorite destinations to vacation and invest.
