Welcome sixteenth edition of the International Film with Values Festival, from December 4 to 24, 2020, under the motto "hope conquers fear"

At the beginning of the year 2000, a handful of dreamers, led by Father Joel Ascencio, began to envision the creation of a film festival capable of transmitting our universal values. The common denominator of this initiative was to design a new space so that cinema with values can reach longer exposure times on commercial screens.

Among the objectives of the FIC values, promoting the production, presentation and consumption of quality cinema continues to prevail, which proposes culture and values that make man more free, dedicated and open to dialogue; provide a forum for exposure to productions that perform a social function; promote, through cinema, open dialogue and communication between men of different races, languages, religions, beliefs, social stratum and ideology, as well as project films that are not reduced to the banality of gratuitous violence or the simple boredom of life, investing strength and energy to undertake educational action, precisely through those films that present the signs of artistic quality, human consciousness and inner reality.

With 15 years of experience, 1,600 films exhibited and more than 450,000 attendees in its history, the Organizing Committee and the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA), carry out the sixteenth edition of the International Film Festival with Values, from December 4 to 24, 2020, under the motto "hope conquers fear."

In the task of inspiring human beings with beautiful, strong illuminating stories through cinema, using the strength and persuasion of cinematographic narrative to promote positive change in society, they once again join the efforts of different collaborators who, despite the pandemic, covid-19 migrate the FC values 2020 to digital format through Cinepolis Klic
