Purepecha Orchestra

Children's Youth Orchestra "Kuerajperi". This orchestra is one of the representations of the work carried out in the Purépecha indigenous community. Project that arises in 2013 just starting with 20 children, currently with more than 180 members.
Project that arises in 2013 just starting with 20 children, currently with more than 180 members, directed by the young Mtro. Mario Mejía Martínez, Purépecha composer committed to local art and culture. His work and effort are focused on the rescue and recovery of regional music such as; the pirekuas, the sones, the abajeños, in the same way seek to awaken the talents of children as well as their healthy formation.
This orchestra is one of the representations of the work carried out in the Purépecha indigenous community. Which addresses you with all due respect exalting your form of social organization of Usos y Costumbres in this extraordinary Purépecha region.
For us, it is very important to continue with the mission of providing inclusion to the indigenous community and integrating them into the community life of our country, rescuing the contribution they have made to our history and culture, valuing their contribution to the construction of our identity.
Three years ago we had the privilege of the first view of this Orchestra here in Puerto Vallarta performing at the Vallarta Theater where the applause did not stop and thus considered by the public as an extraordinary show.
The purpose of this event is to support this noble community and specifically the children's orchestra with the economic collection of ticket sales
