Bloomberg Pursuits: Nayarit among the most recommended destinations of 2020

Bloomberg Pursuits proposes inspiring places that will be particularly attractive this year, among which the “Luxury and Nature” of the Mexican Pacific Treasure stands out.

Bloomberg, the world's leading news platform for business and financial data, has included the Riviera Nayarit in an exclusive list of 24 inspiring and particularly attractive places in the world to travel to in 2020.

In its “Pursuits” section, Bloomberg publishes a photograph of the Playa del Amor, tourist icon of the Riviera Nayarit, in addition to an extensive article in which he catalogs this destination as the “next vacation spot in Mexico”, highlighting its quiet coast and its green jungle, the luxury of Punta Mita and its emblematic hotels The St. Regis and Four Seasons, as well as investments at the door.

Bloomberg makes a comparison of El Tesoro del Pacífico Mexicano with Los Cabos, BCS, of their similarities and differences:

“Instead of rugged coastlines and desert landscapes, Riviera Nayarit has 200 miles of tranquil coastline and green jungle (…) Cabo and Riviera Nayarit will eventually have one thing in common: hotels from every luxury brand imaginable, including Rosewood and Auberge. Conrad opens first, in May, with seven restaurants and a Mexican steam bath, or temazcal; “June will welcome One & Only with a polo club and zip line.”

It also highlights attractions such as humpback whale watching and sea turtle season, as well as exclusive hotel rate data and more useful information provided by travel experts.

Bloomberg and Travel Weekly highlight new investments in the Riviera Nayarit, such as Mandarina and Costa Canuva.

Travel Weekly Mexico

On the other hand, Riviera Nayarit appears in a report published on December 31, 2019 on the online platform Travel Weekly México, called “Five places to know in Mexico in 2020.”

In the article, travel journalist Meagan Drillinger mentions that “Proven Favorites (Destinations) will continue to dominate Mexico's tourism scene in the new year, highlighting changes, openings and new investments in destinations.” The Mandarina and Costa Canuva developments are included in these openings, as well as the million-dollar investment that hotel chains such as One & Only, Rosewood, Ritz-Carlton and Fairmont will make in the aforementioned developments.
