Los Arcos de Mismaloya: faithful watchmen of the bay
These large rock formations that emerge from the depth of the sea resemble faithful watchmen of the bay, full of beauty and mysticism. Actually, they are small islands that are located between Gemelas beach and the town of Mismaloya on the road to Barra de Navidad.
These large rocks are covered with endemic vegetation, which serves as food and rest for various species and birds.
This place was named a National Marine Park in 1984 for its unique characteristics and particular beauty. And it is that Jhon Huston was not wrong when he decided to put this great landscape in the film "The Night of the Iguana", since they portray Mismaloya and the exuberance of the Vallarta landscapes. The view it has from the road is undoubtedly for the photo of the memory, but the real experience is to take a panga and go down to explore this enigmatic place.
There are various tours that take you to the Arcos de Mismaloya to experience firsthand the sensation of passing through these long-lived rocks that watch over their natural treasures in the depths. Coral Island: a fairytale landscape

You don't have to cross the entire country to find it, just 10 minutes by boat from Guayabitos corner On the coast of Nayarit, you arrive at this beautiful fairytale island that definitely does not ask for anything from the Caribbean Sea. There is a cooperative organized to protect the place and its species, and it is in constant communication with the authorities in the matter to have their endorsement and protection. Since 2016 the Isla del Coral beach received the certification as Clean Beach and among Travelers know it as the treasure of the Mexican Pacific. It has a pier for landing from where you can see the transparency of its waters. Spending a couple of hours on this dream island is a wonderful experience. Playa del Amor: the navel of Bahía de Banderas
This crater located in the Marietas Islands National Park, is considered one of the most beautiful settings in the Mexican Pacific. Its biodiversity is the subject of studies and research by biologists and academics in the region, since fauna made up of the blue-footed booby, seagulls, pelicans and various birds coexist in it.
In the depth of its waters, in addition to having beautiful coral reefs, you can find manta rays, fish of a thousand colors, olive ridley turtles, dolphins and in winter season impressive humpback whales with their young. There are special hours and conditions because it is a biosphere reserve, that is, a natural area protected by the Mexican authorities.
To get there you can only do it through a tour or tourist boats that take you from Nuevo Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Bucerías or Punta de Mita. And to enter this hidden beach, you can only do it by swimming or kayaking.
