Mexgolf Junior Tour 2021

The LXX National Children's-Youth Championship, in its XXIV International Edition, will be presented by Carlos Ortiz, a PGA participant and considered one of the two best players in Mexico.
Riviera Nayarit will receive from April 15 to 18 the Mexgolf Junior Tour 20-21, LXX National Children-Youth Golf Championship / International Edition, presented by Carlos Ortiz, one of the two best Mexican players and PGA participant.
The tournament —the oldest in the youth children's category of the Mexican Golf Federation— will have as headquarters the fields Greg Norman Signature and Nayar Golf, Both of Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta, just like him Flamingos Golf Club, reported the National Children's Youth Committee of the FMG.
“We are sure that the tournament will be a total success that will exceed all the expectations of the Federation and this wonderful Vidanta complex. The event will also bring a significant economic benefit to the Destination, since all the players travel in the company of their families and they all look forward to traveling to the Riviera Nayarit and getting to know this area.”
According to the information issued by the Committee, around 250 players between the ages of 6 and 18 participate. The older categories, 18 and under, will play in the field Greg Norman at Vidanta; the categories from 10 to 15 years old will compete in Flamingos Golf and the small categories, 7 and under and 8 to 9 years old, will play in the Nayar field. There will also be additional activities such as a “Father and Son” couples tournament on the field The Lakes Vidanta, as well as a coexistence between families.
Inside of the fields of players in this edition will also participate international players from Guatemala, Colombia, Chile and Costa Rica, as well as renowned national players including José Cristóbal Islas, Daniel Maurer, José Antonio Safa, Alejandra Ferrer, Lauren Daiana Olivares, Sean Citherlet, Alejandro Fierro and Vania Simont.
It should be noted that many renowned players such as Carlos Ortiz, Alvaro Ortiz, Maria Fassi, Isabella Fierro, Gaby Lopez and others have participated in the National Children's-Youth Golf Championship.
A golf destination

Regarding the Junior Tour 2021, which will return to this region after several years being Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta its main sponsor, the president of the Association of Hotels and Motels of Bahía de Banderas (AHMBB), Jesús Carmona Jiménez, highlighted:

We are sure that this tournament will come to stay for a long time at Vidanta and will become a tradition for the Federation, the players and the families”, He also expressed President of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (OVC).
