Banderas Bay: A safe place, in a free and supportive Mexico

Mexico cultivates freedom by showing its openness to receive foreigners from all over the world for various reasons.

By Claudio Fabian Guevara

Mexico is a land of freedom, in which millions of Mexicans build their dreams every day. Also millions of foreigners have found their home in this country and they live at ease in a setting of prodigious geographical diversity and cultural richness.

To begin with, the country has traditionally had a generous immigration policy. Until recently, obtaining a legal residence was a very simple and inexpensive process. The demands have become tougher with the Immigration Reform, but settle legally in this country It is still a much friendlier process compared to other countries.

  • Mexico also cultivates freedom in its openness to refugees and persecuted from other parts of the world: from welcoming Leon Trotsky to receiving thousands of victims of the Argentine dictatorship, the country has a true tradition of solidarity and political courage.
  • The country also offers fantastic entrepreneurial freedom. It is a modern economy that preserves islets of traditional economy.
  • Mexico is far from the strict control of companies that are monitored down to the last square centimeter. It preserves many virgin territories…
  • Mexico is free of racism, religious fanaticism and political extremism.
  • Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas is an oasis of opportunity, where diversity, respect and inclusion prevail; It is a bay that lives in freedom and harmony.

Solidarity Mexico

As a foreigner I am a witness that Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit offer countless possibilities for development. For example: those of us who came to study a postgraduate course thanks to the academic plans offered by important universities in the region, such as the University Center of the Coast of the University of Guadalajara. We will spend at least 3 to 5 years living, breathing and learning the uses and customs of the natives, with the freedom to study and enjoy a place as beautiful as this one.

The artists who come to this Bay are inspired by making Vallarta-Nayarit their home for 6 months and the rest of the year they return to their places of origin, although there are many others who have been amazed by the quality of life and have stayed final form.

It is also the case of businessmen or investors who have been able to generate jobs through the tourism, real estate or gastronomic industry, managing to boost the economy of the region.

Together they contribute to the development of a bay that has become the safest and most beautiful in the world.
