► VI Sea Turtle Festival (21 – 22 July)
With the arrival of the turtle nesting and releasing season, Playa plantains, coastal town of the Riviera Nayarit, prepare for the 6th sea turtle Festival, to be held on 21 and 22 July 2018.
The objective is to promote the care of the environment and the preservation of sea turtles, in addition to promoting tourism to a community with less than 100 inhabitants, mostly dedicated to trading, fishing and sustainable tourism.
Plantains Beach is located approximately 25 kilometers from the village of Las Varas, in the municipality of Compostela.

► 12 ° Marlin and Tuna Fishing tournament Bahía de Banderas (26 – 28 July)
The Riviera Nayarit is now ready to receive the 12th International Marlin and tuna fishing tournament in Bahia de Banderas, which will take place on 26, 27 and 28 July 2018 at the Vallarta Yacht Club facilities at the Paradise Village in Nuevo Vallarta.
This tournament attracts the best fishermen of the country and the foreigner, summoned by the sport fishing Club of Bahía de Banderas A.C.
