International Gourmet Festival: 24 years of haute cuisine

Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit have established themselves as the gourmet destination of Mexico. With a varied gastronomic proposal and almost a quarter of a century of extraordinary culinary experiences, the Gourmet Festival left its mark on thousands of diners over 10 days.

They also enjoy the most recent trends in the world of gastronomy, as well as the secrets of the deepest cultures in the arts of good eating. The culture of gastronomy that for 24 years has given unforgettable experiences to local and foreign diners ended its 2018 edition, after pleasing the finest and most demanding palates. The best table in Mexico for the world was presented with the most outstanding restaurants in the Bahía de Banderas region, and Tepic, with the presence of incomparable exponents of culinary art from different countries and our nation.

International Gourmet Festival: a 24-year tradition

the history of Gourmet Festival dates back to 1995, with only 10 participants. Since that year, the philosophy of the event was dedicated to the taste of the diners, who from that moment on tried the proposals of outstanding chefs, in which culinary knowledge and wisdom were destined to what today continues to be the International Gourmet Festival. Try, get to know, enjoy and taste the magic of the masters of good food and their creations; Those who approach the table in a personalized way to exchange comments are your diners.

New World Cuisine Trends

The kitchen evolves as much as the human being, and chefs, in addition to resorting to their creativity, are constantly updated.

Molecular cuisine, high vacuum, the new concepts of the world, touches of the restaurant and canteen, Oaxacan, Jalisco, northern, French, German culture, teachers from the Maitre Cuisiniers de France academy, Chefs in the Michelin Star category. Everything is present, to leave its mark as it has happened for 24 uninterrupted years, filling the most demanding palates with joy, surprising lovers of good food and surprising those who entered the world of gastronomy for the first time.

The three musketeers of the Gourmet Festival

The chefs Thierry Blouet, Heinz Reize and Roland Menetrey like children in love with their favorite toy, attended each of the events held as good hosts and event organizers. Known as "The Three Musketeers of the Gourmet Festival", the chefs did not stop smiling and sharing their passion with the rest. All the events were special and the restaurants and the dishes created became the stars of the event.

Undoubtedly, the closing, as always, was majestic with Brunch at La Patrona Polo Club and its delicious Grill Fest, where grilled vegetables, fine cuts, and seafood were exquisitely presented to give the attendees an unforgettable afternoon.
